Privacy Policy

Effective since 12 November 2025

Telepora builds games and applications for global audiences. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and which choices players and users have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Slovak privacy laws.

Data We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary to deliver and improve our titles:

  • Account information Email address, display name, authentication tokens, hashed passwords, and optional profile details you add.
  • Gameplay and app data Progress, achievements, items, settings, note content, tags, and other content you voluntarily create inside our apps.
  • Support interactions Messages you send to Telepora, feedback forms, and moderation records.
  • Technical diagnostics IP address, device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and aggregated analytics.
  • Location data Only if an app clearly requests it and you explicitly enable the feature.

How We Use Data

  • Provide, operate, and secure our games and apps.
  • Sync your progress across devices and deliver expected features.
  • Respond to support requests and investigate abuse or fraud.
  • Improve stability, detect bugs, and plan new features.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We never sell personal data. We share data only with essential service providers (such as cloud hosting or analytics) bound by confidentiality agreements and data processing contracts.

Legal Basis

We process data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering secure services, maintaining infrastructure, and providing support.

Player & User Controls

In-app deletion

When signed in, you can delete your profile and related data from the account settings within each Telepora title.

Export or correction

Request a copy of your data or ask us to update inaccurate details via the in-app help centre or by emailing contact@telepora.com.

Email verification

For security, we require additional verification before fulfilling email-based deletion or ownership requests. This prevents unauthorised changes to someone else’s account.

Consent withdrawal

If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time inside the app or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already performed.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only while your account remains active or as long as needed for our legitimate business purposes. When you delete your account, gameplay data and personal information are removed immediately or within 14 days, and backups are purged or anonymised within 30 days.

Children

Our services are intended for users aged 16 and older. If we learn that we have collected personal data from someone under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to safeguard data, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews. While we strive to protect your data, no digital service can guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Telepora is based in the European Union. When we work with partners outside the EU/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect your data.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or technical changes. Revisions take effect when published. Material updates will be highlighted in-app or on this page.
